Me too, for a few days on my tablet error UPES_1025 a few moments after launching a video.

I managed to watch the videos by lowering the streaming quality in the MyCanal settings... but it pixelates the image :-(

Settings > Consumption > Streaming > Intermediate + Apply on Wi-Fi yes

I was stuck as well! Thank you for the detailed instructions on how to still watch content, even if it feels like streaming from 2010 haha ;)

Hello

I had the same problem and I changed the streaming consumption in the settings.

I was on maximum and I switched to intermediate and it's working.

Yeah, but we pay for a subscription so we can watch in the best quality possible.

I applied this on my wife's smartphone which had the same problem:

UPES errors (with numbers varying: 021, 102, 157, 160, etc.) have existed since version 5 of the MyCANAL app for Android and Android TV. They are fixed with version 5.6.1 of the app.

If the error persists, please check the following points:

  1. Check for the update to version 5.6.1.
  2. Update Android or your Android TV in the settings of your smartphone or television.

It may also be necessary to force the quality to 720p by following the procedure below to switch to Widevine Level 3:

  • Open the MyCANAL app
  • Open your profile in the top right corner
  • Settings
  • Press the version number 5 times, until you see a small video
  • Go back
  • Settings
  • Debug
  • Limit to HD 720p: Yes

Hello, thank you, your tutorial should be highlighted in the forums, after several weeks of hassle with the upes 150 and 151 it finally works again.

Same error message on my end since this morning. But only on my tablet, it works on my phone.

Have you contacted Canal's customer service to report the issue?

I had the same problem and I solved it by setting the streaming consumption parameter. I switched from maximum to intermediate. It works.
