2 HDMI ports but only one works

Hello, my PC has 2 HDMI ports, however I am unable to connect a second screen to the second HDMI port, can you help me please?

    For the PC, do we need the brand and model..? Or those of the motherboard..?

    The second screen..?? Brand and model..?

    The HDMI version of these connections, including that of the cable used..?

    Hello, he is on Windows 11, my 2 screens are AOC, my graphics card is an Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060, as for the HDMI version, I honestly have no idea at all.

    What model of screen, AOC being the brand and not the model..?

    The graphics card may be useful but it does not provide the brand of the PC, nor the model..?

    We can only assume that this PC is a fixed TOWER version due to this graphics card... and not a laptop..??

    All this information is found on the identification plate of each device... and normally, on the purchase invoice and also the PC manual...

      My PC is indeed a desktop tower, the model I have no idea, I can't find the invoice, but it has a Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060, 16GB of RAM, an Intel i5 processor, and my 2 screens are AOC 27G4XE.

    OK, these screens support a refresh rate of 180 Hz, and the RX3060 graphics card is capable of more, it's just the i5 processor that's a bit weak to push the power (the power supply is unknown).

    Yes, HDMI-1 is working, with its dedicated cable, it would be necessary to test by connecting screen number 2 to HDMI-1 with its cable... If the screen works, then screen number 2 works well with HDMI-1 cable...

    Now, we switch HDMI-1 cable with HDMI-2... does the screen still display..?? If yes, HDMI-2 cable is good... If not, HDMI-2 is the culprit for the display issue...

    If everything works like this, we need to connect HDMI-1 with cable to screen 1...

    And HDMI-2 with its cable to screen number 2 and look for the reason why..?

    -- Either a setting in the Nvidia card configuration that should validate/activate HDMI-2 port which is probably not activated...

    -- Or the Nvidia drivers for Windows 11 which may not be well adapted to allow display on both HDMI outputs, with two screens...

    There is something like that...
