Hello,

My laptop shuts down on its own when the battery reaches about 50%. However, there is no overheating. Nevertheless, when it's plugged into the power supply, there are no issues. This has been going on for a few days now, and I really don't understand where the problem comes from! My battery doesn't seem worn out; I've tried charging it and unplugging it at 40%, and it shuts down at around 30%.

Thank you in advance for your help; I am completely lost.

      Hi again,

Have you tried plugging the PC power supply into another socket and then putting the battery back in to see?

Do you mean that it might be because the device is plugged in and the charger is connected?

Yes, but with no guarantee that it comes from there.
