Out of range

Hello,
My old Alcatel landline phone is unplugged and the batteries are removed.
I bought a new Alcatel Duo landline phone, plugged it into the power outlet, and placed the batteries in their compartment.
I have this message on the new Alcatel landline phone: "out of range".
I have tried all the outlets in the house, but the same message keeps appearing on the screen.
So, I restarted my old phone (with the new phone still plugged in).
I called my landline number, and it’s the old phone that answers, not the new one, and moreover, it works on all the power outlets in the house.
Excuse me, but I don't understand what is happening!!!
Can you help me because I also use it for work.
Thanks for your help.
Marcel.

Hello,
What is the exact model of this Alcatel phone?
You say you've plugged it into all the power outlets, but where is it plugged in with its telephone cable?
Since the old phone is still in place, what is it plugged into; the Livebox?
It's very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there... -
Hello everyone,
Thank you for your responses.
I'm sorry for responding late, but I've had some personal issues.
So, my new landline phone is an Alcatel XL785 Duo.
I live in a new building (it’s 3 years old) and it’s connected to a power socket + the box socket in the room (there's a box socket in every room).
I’ve tried numerous tests but without any results, it doesn’t ring and always shows out of range.
I left the new landline phone plugged in as instructed, and I plugged the old Alcatel landline phone in another room to both power + the box.
Only the old phone rang.
I then unplugged everything and only reconnected the new landline phone to the 2 sockets used in the other room by the old landline phone. Without any results. Nothing happens and it still shows: Out of range.
I don’t know how to solve the problem.
Sorry and thank you again for your help.

Hello,
The sockets you refer to as "prise box" in the rooms are RJ45 sockets.
All sockets must be concentrated at the other end of their cables in the communication space, which is generally located near or in the electrical cabinet.
Please attach a photo of the cabinet (lid open) so that we can give you more information
