Outbyte PC Repair reviews

Hello

My PC running Windows 10 Home version 22H2 is unable to perform a cumulative update and keeps returning the error code "0x800f020b".

After doing some research online, this error code led me to Outbyte PC Repair, which supposedly can resolve this blockage.

But I read that one should be cautious as it might "clean up too much" and risk causing issues. Moreover, when launched, it finds a ton of problems. See the screenshot at the bottom, thanks!

So before activating the license for this software, I would like to get your opinion on Outbyte PC Repair?

There are certainly websites that promote it. However, I haven't seen many verified user reviews.

If you have any illuminating advice, I thank you in advance!

Sincerely,

Marc

Hello @RenardLoyal77 StatusMember.

Never install this kind of crap on a PC, Outbyte PC Repair is a scam, this software is promoted by shady sites, I think you should carefully read this page.

Outbyte PC Repair won’t fix anything for you, on the contrary, it will try to get you to take the paid version by making you believe your PC is infested with problems when it isn't.

In cases of Windows update issues, sometimes a simple Windows repair is enough.

Complete scam, they're withdrawing €25 from your account every 3 months without any agreement from you and no issue has ever been resolved regarding my problem. To be refused outright. I uninstalled it on June 12th and they are still charging €25 every 3 months. I wrote to them and I'm still waiting for their response, it comes from the Netherlands!!!

Hello too,

We don't really see how such a "publisher" could have guessed your credit card numbers or IBAN.

Uninstalling a software has nothing to do with the contract taken out with this company, which must be terminated while respecting its deadlines, otherwise it continues to run.

If such a contract is so bogus that it doesn't include a cancellation procedure, then all you have to do is "lose" your credit card and request a new one.
