Hello,

I would like to know if the Iobit Systemcare software is reliable?
Thorough cleaning? Risk of deleting important files?

Thank you ^^

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 51.0.2704.63

For my part, and this is just my opinion, this software is dangerous. Like most software that claims to boost the PC, by the way. It's utopian, but you should rather look for tutorials on how to maintain your PC (which folders to delete, which services to disable, etc.).

Thank you ^^, I also have a problem, Bitdefender (my antivirus) is slowing down my PC, what can I do? :/

Antivirus run continuously in the background. You could possibly check in its configuration if there are certain services you don't need that can be disabled: email scans, browser scans, etc.

Also, it may be a hardware limitation: your hard drive might not be able to handle the load of this antivirus...

Avira is a software that I find lightweight and not intrusive. I have only activated the free antivirus option and everything else (browser protection, system speed up, etc.) is off.

I'm going to give it a try, thanks :)
And browser protection, etc., are they not very effective?

Let's say that browser protection often comes down to
  • analyzing downloaded files (which you can do manually, which Windows sometimes does automatically via Windows SmartScreen, or which your antivirus does if you have enabled real-time protection),
  • detecting phishing sites, which you can detect yourself by being vigilant
  • preventing tracking that you can manage yourself by configuring your browser not to save cookies and session history, or via the "tell websites not to track me" option

Finally, we don't really know what the antivirus does in browser protection mode, but you should expect it to analyze all the web pages you visit, which raises a privacy issue and which, of course, as is the case with any free product, places you, the consumer, as the product that will be sold to third parties (your browsing habits, your screen size, the size of shorts you wear, etc.)!
