Blocking a group on messenger

I accidentally blocked a group on Messenger, how can I unblock it because I'm going around in circles

    Are you sure you blocked the entire group? I can't find anything about that in the FAQ (saying it would be possible)...

    Otherwise, generally, blocks are managed in your settings on Facebook (not on Messenger).

    To unblock a group on Messenger, here are the steps to follow:

    1. Open Messenger and click on your profile picture at the top left.
    2. Scroll down and click on "Account Preferences".
    3. Then select "Blocked".
    4. In "Blocked", you will find the list of people and groups you have blocked.
    5. Click on the group you want to unblock and then select "Unblock".

    Note that unblocking a group will allow you to receive messages and calls from that group again.

      I don't have "Account Preferences" and even less, "Blocks".
      However, I have "Privacy and Security" and inside there are blocked contacts (but not the groups). ??
