Facebook connection issue

I don’t know if I’m in the right place to ask this question, but I'm really looking for a solution. So, here it is: my Facebook and Messenger apps were uninstalled from my phone, so I reinstalled them. The problem is that when I try to reconnect, I get a message that says:
check your notifications on another device, we sent a notification to your phone... check your Facebook notifications and approve the connection to continue.
But I’m not using another device; I'm on my phone. It's pending approval, but there are no notifications... I can't recover my Facebook with my phone number, I tried from my computer, and I keep getting the same message. I can't reset my password; it doesn't work, and when I try to log in to the email linked to my account through Hotmail, it says the email does not exist... because if you lose your phone, how do you approve a notification? Is there not a way to recover your Facebook if you’ve lost your phone?
I don’t know what to do anymore, so if anyone has an idea, I would appreciate it.

You need to check with Facebook support, and there are no miracles in this area.
To allow you to use login alerts, we need to be able to remember information about your computer, mobile device, and web browser in order to recognize them during your next login attempt. If you're prompted to name a device you've already logged into: Make sure your device is listed in Authorized Connections in your login and security settings. Once logged in, you can save a device or browser in your list of trusted browsers or recognized devices. If you're using private browsing or incognito mode on your computer's web browser or your mobile device, Facebook may not recognize the device during your next login.
