Good evening,
I've been unable to connect to my Facebook for a week. It shows me:
The connection has timed out
The server at www.facebook.com is taking too long to respond.
* The site may be temporarily unavailable or overloaded. Please try again
later;
* If you can't access any site, check your computer's network connection;
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy,
make sure Firefox is allowed to access the web.
Can you help me?
Sincerely
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.13

No, I don't have any connection issues, all the sites are working normally, and I'm not using a proxy!
Ok, have you checked that the Facebook site is not in the "Host" file of Windows?
Have you tried to flush the DNS on your PC? (Open the start menu, search for "cmd.exe", open it and type "ipconfig /flushdns"?)

Configuration:
Windows Seven, Intel Core I7, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 1Gb dedicated graphics card, 1420 Go HDD, 6 Go DDR 3 RAM
There's no point in having a Tiger in your computer if there's a donkey behind the screen... Or a penguin for Linux users ;)

It's normal, he flushed the DNS... Have you tried reconnecting to the Facebook site?

hello
Algeria Telecom has deliberately closed the Facebook network and various other networks to prevent people from talking to each other and getting informed,
the reason is to push people to their limits and cause chaos,
constant power cuts, connection problems, at the end of each month they say the computers are down and let people wait while allowing their friends to go ahead,
the connection barely works
I have 1 megabit of bandwidth
it works at 128k
Algeria Telecom has closed the UDP and TCP and HTTP ports, ports 21, 20, 448, 80 and many more are closed
they decide for us what we should and should not do, soon they will tell us what we should wear
we have been trapped in this rotten country for over 20 years
and the only thing we have today is the connection to escape from here and talk to friends around the world and keep busy
we pay for a connection, which is not adequate and where the network is deliberately sabotaged by Algeria Telecom and the idiots in charge
it's up to you to decide
for a month now, I've been wasting my time with a connection that is not 1 megabit but 128k since my downloads are at 12 and 10k instead of 128k of bandwidth
I will file a complaint and it’s a shame that Algerians do not react, it’s the martyrs who died for nothing
if your Facebook isn’t working, ask your friends in other countries if theirs is working, and they will tell you yes, it's Algeria Telecom that is blocking it, a country of dictators where the martyrs died for nothing

Are you having trouble accessing other websites as well?
Are you connecting from a cyber café? Are you using a proxy?
Do you have a restriction on accessing this website?
