DigitNow - low quality image

Hello,
After many attempts and watching tutorials, I have come to think that the DigitNow - VideoCapture equipment (model BR119) is not of good quality. This may be due to the RCA connections, although I have tried several cables.
Objective: to digitize VHS films
Equipment: Philips VHS recorder in good condition
MacBook Pro M3 Pro
OS: Sonoma
Results with OBS or QuickTimePlayer:
Sound - perfect
Image - color degradation and a lot of interference

Hello, I copied some topos onto these cheap 4-pin USB drives from the web. I recommended a well-known and supported box for updates, but unfortunately, it's only available on Windows: "Dazzle video recorder," which I use.
Ps, sometimes you need to crop the film to eliminate the edges.
With all due respect, there's Elgato, which is also well-known for Mac. Check out tutorials on YouTube.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
I had spotted the Dazzle product but it doesn't work on Mac.
As for the Elgato product, it is more expensive than the Digitnow by €40, the boxes are strictly strictly the same...
I am tempted to try it and I will give you feedback and/or return the product if it doesn't work better.
Have a good day,
Jean
Hello,
I just tested the Video Capture device distributed by Elgato and it works really, really well.
The image and sound quality is equivalent to the VHS source.
It just goes to show, a similar device on the surface, but at a higher price (+30 €) and the result is not the same at all.
Model purchased: 2VC309901000
Do not buy the model sold by DigitNow (likely defective connectors)
Have a nice day

Thank you for the feedback, but the source is of excellent quality (perfect color and no noise) when viewed on TV.
I think it’s more of a transfer issue.
