Hello, for the past few days, when I open the Instagram app, whether on PC or mobile, I receive the following alert message:

The introductory sentence is as follows: "We suspect automated behavior on your account".

To avoid a potential permanent deactivation of the account, what should be done to remedy this?

    Hello

    Using third-party applications (for example, Reports+) is against the Instagram policy. As long as the two are associated, you will receive this message or worse, you could even lose access to your Instagram account.

    You need to start by disassociating the third-party app.

    Hello Radinoz, thank you for your quick response. What do you mean by "third-party application"? I don't think it's the proposed example ;) (which I've never heard of)

    Assuming this is the correct section of the settings, I do not have "any applications or websites linked to the Instagram account." We'll see if a simple password change will suffice.
