Facebook event cover appears cropped on mobile

Hello,

I have published an event cover image in PNG format created with Canva at a size of 1200 x 628 pixels on our Facebook page, as requested by Facebook. This image appears cropped in height and width in users' news feeds on mobile. What should I do? Thank you in advance for your advice.

    The ideal size for a Facebook event cover image is 1920 x 1080 pixels. The proportions are 16:9. If you don't adhere to these dimensions, your image will be cropped to fit. So try creating a new image with these dimensions to see if it fixes the issue. Also, remember to place the important elements of your image (texts, logos, etc.) in the center to avoid them being cropped in case of automatic cropping by Facebook.

    I have noted your recommendations. In the meantime, I recreated my image in 851 x 315 px and then reduced it to under 100 kb. By not putting important information on the sides, it works perfectly. Have a great weekend.
