Hello,

I can't seem to disable parental supervision for my 19-year-old daughter.

I am being asked to delete the Google account. What does that mean? If we delete her Google account, will she lose everything?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards, Xavier.

(P.S.: I've already checked everything in the menus, settings, etc., but I can't find the "option" to "disable supervision")

I also just struggled to figure out how to remove the supervision from my daughter who is now 18 years old. In fact, it should not be done from the parent's phone but from the child's phone, now an adult. On the home screen, swipe your finger from left to right to get to the Google News page. There, at the top right, you will see the first letter of your child's account. Click on it, and you will be prompted to update the account and thus cancel the supervision! Just follow the instructions on the screen.

    Hello,

    Delete your Google account

You can delete your Google account at any time. If you change your mind, you may not be able to recover it after some time.

Thank you. I had already seen this information.

So is there no way to disable parental supervision WITHOUT having to delete the child's Google account?

      What is this thing?

      Is this it?

How can anyone think of using such an intrusive thing, knowing what Google has become?

The first thought that comes to mind, not really knowing what it is about, is "serves you right", but that doesn't solve anything, I agree, it's just to disgust others.

After all, yes, why not delete the account and also avoid creating a new one, there are plenty of more respectful email services without throwing oneself into the wolf's den.
