Hello,

On the left side of the keyboard, in the upper part under the escape key, there is a key with a 2, used after a number it gives or a letter

For subscript or superscript formatting (other than ²), which software do you want to use to create your text?

It's very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...

Hello,

It depends on the software in which the text is created.

For example, Word has 2 icons to use superscript and subscript.

Hello,

Generally speaking (still in Word but not only), and provided that the format can be enriched (this is impossible for plain text except for the famous key illustrated by baladur13 or in some software certain key combinations), there may not be a magic button, but we can have the choice of superscript or subscript in the font properties:

Hello

And finally some keyboard shortcuts to speed things up (with Word):

Ctrl+Shift+plus (on the alpha keyboard)

To return to normal text: Ctrl+Space
