On Word, convert:ème to superscript

Bonjour, je veux convertir ème (ex. XIIème) en exposant donc en petits caractères. Je n'arrive pas à trouver la solution, je sais que ça existe.

Hello,

You highlight/select what you want to put in superscript, then right-click and choose the "font" menu. There, you check "Superscript"

There is also a shortcut in the small menu that appears automatically when selected: x²

Note: XIIth is WRONG, you should write XIIe

Yes, I'm sure of myself: just the e in superscript and without accent. :-)

Thank you for your response XII, because yesterday I corrected a thesis making this mistake that you would consider wrong.
Yes, I cannot find the superscript in the font
However, I just tried the shortcut ctrl+m+= and it gives me a subscript, which is not correct.
