Instagram GIFs not sending

Hello,

I have a problem with gifs on Instagram in private messages: every time I try to send a gif, it says "click on the stickers icon to send a gif." It doesn't work and I was wondering if this was due to a settings issue as I haven't found how to fix this problem.

    Good evening,

    In my opinion, GIFs don’t go through... they are blocked because they can contain hidden and malicious codes. So no risks.

    You can try a roundabout way by putting your compressed GIF in a ZIP...

    Your ZIP file has a better chance of going through... give it a try, you’ll see.
