Unable to get SMART TV channels

Hello,

I just bought a smart TV Edenwood32A08hd. I set it up and managed to connect it to the internet via the ethernet cable and my wifi box, but I can't receive any channels.

I tried everything, both automatic and manual channel searches. The installation manual doesn't mention anything about this, I even restarted the TV setup but nothing. In the box containing the TV, there was only the power cable.

I have access to all the apps without any problems. The manager of my residence told me that normally if the ethernet cable is plugged in, I should be able to access the channels.

Do I need to buy an antenna cable, please?

Hello,

The channel search does not work through the coaxial connection.

On a smart TV to watch channels via the internet connection, you need to launch an installed application.

thank you for your reply, but I don't have an internet box with a provider. I have connected the TV to the box or to the decoder in my apartment, which is linked to the student residence.

If you don't have an internet service provider and therefore no TV box, you can either use an antenna to receive TNT, use the store on your TV and the applications it contains, or use an Android stick that connects via WiFi and plugs into the HDMI port of your TV.

Then, through the store on your TV or the stick, you can install any application such as Molotov or better yet the MyCanal app to enjoy the Canal+ subscription for €2 with no commitment and cancellable at any time.

Hello,

If you have a TV decoder connected to a box, the channel search should be done on the TV decoder.

If you have an antenna socket in your home, then with an antenna cable, you will have access to TNT and you can search for channels from the television.

Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it’s not there...
