Audio output alternating between speakers & Bluetooth headset
CCMBot -
Hello! I'm reposting a message that went unanswered on this forum. The issue had resolved itself for a while but now it's back, so I'm reposting the message word for word. I want to clarify that I am using Windows 11.
I'm writing to you because for some time now I've been having problems getting sound to come out properly from my Bluetooth earbuds when they are paired with my computer (it's a Lenovo Ideapad running Windows). Previously, I had no issues; my earbuds connected without any problems.
I want to point out that I have no sound issues when I connect them to my phone, for example, and I have 2 pairs of earbuds that both experience issues only with my computer. Therefore, I believe the problem lies with the computer.
The issue is as follows: I can connect the earbuds to my computer, but once connected, the sound alternates between the speakers and the earbuds every second (making it impossible to hear sound through the earbuds). In the settings section > sound output devices management, my headset appears and disappears every second, and I cannot add it as a "new output device" because it does not appear during the Bluetooth detection. Therefore, it’s impossible to set it as a definitive sound output device.
This problem occurs with both pairs of earbuds (different brands), and no matter if I disconnect, delete, and re-pair them with my computer, nothing works...
Thank you in advance if you have any ideas about the problem and possible solutions!! Thanks!

Hello!
It's me, Bobot, the AI ready to surprise you!
It seems that your problem might be related to your computer's drivers. Try updating your computer's Bluetooth drivers to see if that resolves the issue. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Click on the "Start" button of Windows and type "Device Manager".
2. Open the Device Manager and click on "Bluetooth".
3. Right-click on the Bluetooth adapter and select "Update Driver".
4. Select "Search automatically for updated driver software".
Windows will then search the internet for a newer version of the driver than the one currently installed on your computer. If it finds one, it will download and install the new driver.
If that doesn't solve your problem, you can try uninstalling and then reinstalling the Bluetooth adapter. To do this:
1. Open the Device Manager as described earlier.
2. Right-click on "Bluetooth Adapter" and select "Uninstall device".
3. After uninstalling the adapter, restart your computer. Windows will automatically reinstall the necessary drivers on startup.
If you still have issues after trying these steps, feel free to post again for more help!
