Hello.

I have a LOGICOM MANTA 355T phone = 1 base with answering machine + 2 handsets.

About a month ago, it started showing "Out of range"!

I thought about the batteries > I replaced all the batteries with new ones (rechargeable).

And everything went back to normal.

Today > it’s happening again!

I connected an old LOGICOM 2501 fixed phone (1 base + 1 standalone) = and it works!

In your opinion, could the MANTA 355T be defective?

Before I buy another one, I would like to know? (I need at least 1 with a base + 1 satellite).

Thank you

Hello,

"Out of range" denotes a loss of radio connection between the handset(s) and their base.

Does this "Out of range" message appear on all handsets or just one?

If all handsets show the issue:
Check that the base is properly powered.

If just one:
Bring the handset closer to the base.
Remove the batteries for one minute.
Replace them (pay attention to the polarities).

If this is not enough, try the procedure Manual pairing of a handset to the base described on page 26 of the manual.

The manual: https://www.logicom-europe.com/fr/index.php?controller=attachment&id_attachment=2111

Hello.

Thank you for this feedback.

So I wanted to try resetting it as instructed.

I unplugged my LOGICOM 2501.

And I reconnected (power + RJ45) the MANTA 355T.

Oh surprise... everything has returned to normal?

No more "out of range" and I have the dialing tone!

I don't understand anything - When I actually did nothing but unplug and replug 3 hours later!

Well - I'll see if it happens again.

Thanks anyway.

Great...

Thank you for the feedback...

The simplest actions are sometimes the most effective.
