Hello,

when I try to download a movie from 1fichier.com lately, I can no longer do it; the file appears to be dangerous, even though it's not?

I have stopped my Bitdefender antivirus and removed the enhanced tracking protection by adding the exception "1fichier.com."

In the past, I had no problems with this site; I don't understand anymore?

Thank you for your help

Best regards

Hello,

Ask the person who sent it to you to compress it into: ".zip".

Hello, thank you for your help. But I can't find in "Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall" (Autoriser une application ou une fonctionnalité via le pare-feu Windows) the window to modify the settings does not exist (I have Windows 8.1)

Best regards

Hello, it seems that by transforming the file into a zip, it was downloaded very quickly..

But the reason seems to be that this site was flagged by Bitdefender antivirus as potentially dangerous?

I have therefore added this file to the exceptions of Bitdefender as advised by them..

I will check on the next download what will happen.

Thank you for your help

Have a good evening

Best regards

Hello everyone,

I'm getting back to this dated topic to inform you how I was able to eliminate this inconvenience with downloading files from 1fichier.com:

1- Go into the Firefox settings and in settings/privacy & security/set to "only in private windows"

2- In Firefox, go to settings/privacy & security/in DNS OVER https/manage exceptions/enter the domain name that has the file to download

3- Go to your antivirus and add the domain name that has the file to download to the exceptions.

And it should work.

See you later!
