Installation in progress cannot be resolved

Hello,

I can't install software on my computer because another installation is supposedly in progress. I've already checked the task manager, and there's no ongoing process except for Windows Installer. I clicked on "End Task," but it didn't change anything.

I also tried another solution by going to the Services app to modify the startup type of Windows Installer. No change on that front either. I can't resolve my problem. Thank you in advance for the help you will provide me.
