Hello,
I can't understand what an inherited form is in Word.
In the icon bar, there are buttons for creating forms (button, drop-down list...) and below are the inherited control buttons.
I have searched through many websites but I can't find my answer.

Good evening,
The legacy form buttons are the old form controls that have been around since the dawn of time in Word.
They are there to maintain compatibility with new versions.
I made a brief overview here of all the form tools, including the legacy ones:
