Retrieve the original version of a video

Hello,
I wanted to cut a part of an MP4 video (about 570 MB in size), and I downloaded a free software to do it. Once finished, the cut video had the same name as the original, and to place it on the desktop, I made the mistake of replacing the cut video with the original video (instead of changing the name and having both videos). And this new cut video doesn't work; its size is only 160 bytes!
How can I recover my old 570 MB video? (a file restoration didn't change anything, and "properties / previous versions" has no available actions)

A overwritten file is erased, and recovery is not possible unless you have a special backup versioning system.
Without any guarantee:
Use Data Recovery Software : There are specialized programs for recovering deleted files. Programs like Recuva, EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, or TestDisk can be helpful in trying to recover lost files. Run these programs and follow the instructions to see if they can find the original video.
But the time lost is probably greater than that of downloading.
