Hello everyone,

I'm helping a friend with his network and I need some advice. He already has a devolo dLAN 500 AV Wireless+ kit that works well and he wants to keep it for a remote room.

This kit is compatible with HomePlug.

For three other rooms, he wants to use a hybrid mesh with powerline from TP Link:

Deco P9 (Pack of 3) – Hybrid WiFi Mesh System 1.2 Gigabit + Powerline 1 Gigabit – 2200 Mbps

This kit is compatible with HomePlug AV2.

My question is: Can the two kits operate independently from each other on the same electrical network?

Thank you for your help and have a good day,

    Hello,

No, it's a very bad idea; the two will interfere with each other.

When you want to do this, everyone has to be paired together.

And there you go, voila ....

But goodness, how annoying the line spacing is!!

      Hello,

Thank you for your response. That's what I thought too, but I wasn't sure.

      Have a great day,
