Hello,

I’m trying to set up my new Freebox. All the connections are fine, I’ve checked.

The box (server) doesn’t display anything, but you can hear that it’s powered on, and the small Ethernet light is on at the back of the unit.

I’ve submitted the cancellation request to Orange, my former provider, which hasn’t taken effect yet. My Livebox still works whenever I plug it in.

Is that the reason why I don’t have internet access with my Freebox?

Hello, if Orange is still working, it’s normal that Free isn’t working.

A Free technician needs to come and disconnect Orange (in a cabinet on the street) to connect you to Free.

fiber or ADSL connection?

You should have a message on the box display: step x ...

But, well, if the box is still working, yes, that's a good reason for the connection not to work.


And there you go, voilà ....

But goodness, those line spaces are such a pain!!
