Recording photos received via SMS on SDHC card

Hello,
I have a SAMSUNG A13 Smartphone. Android.
When I receive MMS photos via SMS > I save them.
The problem.
When I view these photos on my Smartphone via the dedicated "Gallery" icon > I see all the photos (Taken shots and photos saved from SMS).
But when I connect my Smartphone to my PC via the cable > in the directory of my SD card > there are no saved photos received via SMS?
Are they saved in the phone's memory > "internal storage > "download" directory?
How can I make all the photos (taken shots and saved) appear on my additional HD SD card?
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
The photos received via MMS are saved in Main Storage > Pictures > Messages.
This is where you will find them from your computer.
In the settings of the Messages app, there is no option to change the storage location (whether from the Google app or the one provided by Samsung).
However, the storage location for photos taken by the smartphone can be changed.
You need to go to the settings of the Photos app; you will find Storage Location with the choice between Internal Storage and SD card.
For photos received via MMS, it is up to you to move them to the SD card, in a backup folder that you will define, if these photos take up too much space in the internal memory of the smartphone. But this cannot be done automatically.
What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.

Hello.
Thank you for these explanations.
But I have properly configured the storage of photos taken on my SDHC card = Ok
I found it strange that the photos I receive via SMS/MMS are not saved to my additional SDHC card!
Indeed > they are saved directly into the internal memory of the Smartphone.
Which I find odd!
Because on my Smartphone > EVERYTHING is visible in the "Gallery" app.
But when I connect my Smartphone to my PC - to back up the photos for example - The ones received are only visible in the internal memory directory. OK
I thought there was a trick to make everything visible - on PC - in the additional SDHC card.
Too bad!
Thank you for your attention.
Hello,
Don't forget that Gallery is just an image manager.
It collects all the images present on the smartphone. The sorting of images by categories is done by clicking on Albums, at the bottom of the page.
When the smartphone is connected to the PC, you need to explore all the folders on the smartphone (including the SD card) to find the images and photos.
