Hello, Until now, I was transferring my photos from my Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro to my PC. Since yesterday, my smartphone is no longer recognized by my PC. After extensive searching in my Xiaomi settings, I noticed that "USB tethering" was not enabled. And I can't enable it. What is preventing this activation? Thank you for your help. JAA

Hello, don't confuse "connection sharing" and file transfer. Connection sharing is to allow your computer to access the internet using the 4G from your mobile phone, for example.

Don't change your phone just yet. I have the same issue on a recent Samsung and Xiaomi. It worked fine before. I suspect Microsoft is messing with us to make us use OneDrive.

Indeed! When I activate OneDrive on my PC, my smartphone is recognized by it and I can transfer my photos like before, without having to save them on OneDrive.

If I disconnect from OneDrive, my phone is no longer recognized by the PC and transferring photos to the PC becomes impossible.

Thank you for mentioning the likely bug. A bad mark for this sneaky move by Microsoft.
