External burner not showing up on the computer

Hello,

I just bought an external ROHS XD013 burner for my new laptop and I installed it on 12/26. Everything went well and I was able to burn several CDs and DVDs without any problems.

On 11/29, to move my computer, I unplugged it. When I plugged it back in, its icon had disappeared and since then I can no longer use the burner. There is no more burner showing on the computer.

What should I do? Thank you

    Hello,

    Is the USB cable a Y cable?

    Did you plug in both USB Type A ends?
