Hello,

Recently, my VLC opens with a Santa Claus hat on its icon.

Can anyone tell me what kind of wizardry makes VLC change its launch icon without a reinstallation of the software?

It's frightening...

    Hello,

    This has existed for a very long time in this software. If I were writing the program, I would check the system date and if it is for example between December 15 and December 31, I would change the icon, which is already included in the program. For Easter, it’s more complicated; the date of Easter needs to be calculated as it is not fixed ツ
