Hello, I switched from the Ryzen 5 2600 to the Ryzen 5 3600, and the performance is worse in benchmarks. I don’t understand. With CPU-Z, I have 6 cores and 12 threads, which I think is normal. But when I launch Ryzen Master, it tells me that the overclocking feature is not supported by the processor. After a 3D Mark test, my old Ryzen 2600 performs better. I don’t understand, thank you for your help.

    Hello,

It's true that at Versus, the Ryzen 5 2600 is presented as more powerful than the Ryzen 5 3600. However, on UserBenchmark, it is the Ryzen 5 3600 that logically takes the lead. Who should we believe?

      Hello,

Personally, I trust UserBenchmark more than Versus, as I have made several comparisons with Versus and found quite a few inconsistencies.

    Hello

It will largely depend on the motherboard chipset; a B450 or 550 is the minimum to optimize a Ryzen 5 3600, and a 3600X would have been better because, in fact, there's only a few % difference between a 2600 and a 3600.

Some %. Yes, but in favor of the Ryzen 5 3600 and not the other way around.
