French language missing for input

Hello,

I just reset my SM-T580 tablet and now I no longer have French in the list of input languages (even though it is present in the general language settings). In fact, in the list of input languages, there are only 3 Western languages: English (US and UK) and Portuguese.

Can anyone tell me how to add languages since this option is grayed out?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello!

To add new languages to the input on your Samsung SM-T580 tablet, you can follow these steps:

1. Go to "Settings".
2. Select "General management".
3. Click on "Language and input".
4. Tap on "On-screen keyboard" then on "Samsung Keyboard".
5. Choose "Languages and types".
6. Here, you should see a list of available languages on your device.

If French is not listed, make sure your tablet is up to date. If it is not, an update may resolve the issue.

Vous pouvez également télécharger des applications de clavier tierces depuis le Google Play Store, comme Gboard ou SwiftKey, qui prennent en charge une large gamme de langues.

Good afternoon, thank you for the advice to install Gboard as my tablet is up to date and French is absent. It's a shame that the layout of this keyboard is not as practical as that of Samsung (among other things, I don't see a delete key and entering numbers is cumbersome).

Sincerely
