Facebook error "The password you entered is incorrect."

Hello,

I have two personal FB accounts and this morning when trying to log in I saw this message "The password you entered is incorrect. Did you forget it?"

I want to emphasize that the passwords have not been changed and are saved in my browser. I've tried both Chrome and Firefox but I keep getting the same message...
My accounts have not been suspended or anything because I haven't received any email informing me of that.

One of my FB accounts is on my smartphone app (where I never log out) and it works, my account is accessible.

Is this a temporary bug? Is anyone else in the same situation?

      I just tested by clearing only the cache and got the same result :/
      Should I also clear the cookies and site data?

    Hello, I have the same problem as you today, I am being told that the password is invalid even though I know it is the right one! I have already cleared cookies and cache by going into my computer's history. Is that the cache you were talking about? Do you know what else to do? When I try to reset the password, it doesn't work either???? Thank you for your help.

      It is the cache and cookies of the concerned internet browser.
