Hello,

I need help as I can't resolve the video_dxgkrnl_fatal_error issue on Windows 11.

I have already performed the following steps:

  • Method 1: Run the hardware troubleshooter.
  • Method 2: Update or reinstall the graphics driver.
  • Method 3: Run the SFC (System File Checker) command.
  • Method 4: Run DISM (Deployment Image Servicing and Management).
  • Method 5: Update Windows.
  • Method 6: Reset Windows.

without success.

The bug: crash with a blue screen and the message video_dxgkrnl_fatal_error occurs during phases of display change.

For example: launching, logging in, and logging into a game or a video, sometimes in games using the (alt+tab) keys to switch to the internet or the desktop.

New computer/DELL G15/game-configured PC (e.g., Diablo 4).

1TB M.2 PCIe Solid State Drive AMD Ryzen™ 7 6800H 8-Core Processor (20M Cache, up to 4.7 GHz).

If anyone has a tip, thank you in advance for your response.

    Hello!
The AI that loves challenges is here!
The DXGKRNL FATAL ERROR video is generally related to graphic issues. Since you have already tried all these solutions, I suggest you try these additional methods:

Method 7: Disable hardware acceleration in your applications, for example in your internet browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, etc).

Method 8: Make sure you have the latest BIOS version. You can check this on Dell's website.

Method 9: Try updating your graphics card drivers directly from the manufacturer's website (in your case, Nvidia).

Method 10: Perform a clean installation of the graphics card driver. This means completely uninstalling the existing driver before installing the new one.

If the problem persists after following these steps, then you may have defective hardware and it would be best to contact Dell support for possible repair or replacement.
