Impact on TV

Hello, due to an unfortunate chain of events, an object I was holding split in two and one of the pieces hit my television. I wanted to know if anyone has any expertise on whether it could be repaired or not (even though I already have a small idea). I'm posting the photos below (in the first one, the screen is on but wasn’t displaying anything at that moment; it was loading a game.) The screen has no impact marks, just some traces, so the problem is underneath.

Hi
Yes, there has indeed been physical damage, but as you said, it's on the inside.
No solution without changing parts, but we need a quote; often we can't find spare parts, and for a TV, all the settings have to be redone, it adds up quickly, it's not just a piece to replace and it's good to go. Easily, you could have a dead TV that costs more than a new one.
Aside from a replacement insurance contract in case of breakage, but that's not common at all.

Thank you for your reply. I reported the claim to my insurance, but in my opinion, it won't make any difference.

Hello everyone,
The marks between these 2 images are exactly the same except that with the blue background at the top it doesn't seem very serious (though...).
You'll need to replace the tile, but is it worth it?
I don't know, it depends on the age of your TV."I reported the incident to my insurance ....": especially don't say that it was you who is responsible, but rather a friend's kid visiting you, etc...
Obviously, you need to find someone who agrees (it won't cost them anything).Good luck!
