Pioneer SPH-DA160DAB unavailable while driving
Jojo -
Hello,
I recently bought a Pioneer SPH-DA160DAB car radio and I would like to connect my phone with Android Auto; however, I can't even set up Android Auto because the car radio thinks I'm driving while I'm actually stationary...
Do you have a solution?
Thank you

Hello, don't worry, the light green wire, just strip it and wrap it around a screw of the car radio and your problems are solved ????
Hello,
I don't know the model.
Start by performing the operation with the engine off and the handbrake engaged?
I had a car until last year that refused to launch any non-integrated applications due to this safety device which is mandatory if the handbrake is not engaged; there was a workaround found online that allowed access to the tablet hard drive and bypassed this behavior.
But the one you described is not normal, the device should allow the operation with the handbrake engaged... and then restrict access to the application while driving.
I don't see any other solution than to refer to the manual to check if it allows third-party applications and under what conditions; I assume the model is compatible with Android Auto (installing the application is not enough, its operating system must integrate it and allow it to be activated via a menu if necessary).
