Hello,

I got a Bluetooth speaker, the Xboom On 7.

The device powered on, displayed D. Protect, and then turned off.

After checking, I reseated a transistor because the previous soldering was poorly done (even though it had been replaced).

A circuit connection was also redone.

And I cleaned the three circuits of the speaker with isopropyl alcohol (indeed, the failure seemed to have occurred after a sugary liquid was spilled on it).

Although I didn't actually find any signs that it had crossed the device (coincidence?)

As a result, upon restarting, the speaker responds well, but the only hitch is the Bluetooth.

It is detected but the connection doesn't establish. The screen displays

BT E2p e

However, I have nothing concrete regarding this error code.

Some say to reset the speaker, but I don't know how to perform the reset on the speaker.

Any advice would be welcome.

Thank you.

CD and USB problem 1 and 2 resolved

It turns out that I inserted a new USB stick with music

At first, it searched in a loop, then displayed the FOLDER number and the title

But there was no music and the sound was not the issue

I then removed the USB stick and plugged it back into the other USB port.

Without really understanding why, on the 5th or 6th try, USB 2 instantly started playback

After playing through one song, I switched back to USB 1 and that one started up as well.

Weird but good. I think that by repeatedly removing and reconnecting them alternately, I must have forced the playback

As for the CD, it’s quite simple but it was a formatting issue.

However, unfortunately with the Bluetooth, I don't know

Always the error code BT e2p e

I don't know how to locate the Bluetooth module on the circuit, is it linked to the antenna board? ????

If not, I'm still looking for how to reset the speaker.

I tried Power + volume -

But it didn't work

Thank you for your future help
