Hello,

Please how do I choose between my two IMEI numbers, since I only have one SIM card in my phone? Which of the two numbers should I take? For instance, regarding a theft, it’s the serial number, what do we call it in relation to the phone code? I would like to know if this number could block the phone in the event of a theft so that the phone can no longer be used by the thief?

Does anyone know this issue and the answer please?

    Hello,

    It is the IMEI number of the SIM slot that is collected by the operator and blocked if necessary; there is no way for them to know the one that is not in service.

    Nothing prevents a thief from placing a SIM card in the other slot, so in the event of theft, both IMEI numbers need to be reported.
