Waiting issue with YouTube on my PS5

Hello,

I need help, I don't know what to do. Since December 2022, I linked my YouTube account from my PS5, and I'm still waiting for verification from YouTube (see screenshot below).

I sent my issue to YouTube, but they don't respond. I recently had a volunteer who just escalated my problem and gave me procedures to follow, like closing tabs, updating the internet browser, checking the encoder... but that's for people streaming from their PC, which doesn't concern me since I stream directly from my PS5.

I would like to stream on YouTube alongside Twitch; I don't know what to do. I've checked all the emails regarding YouTube support and explained my issue, but still nothing, and it's frustrating.

What can I do? Is it a problem with the PS5? It's not the first time I'm linking a YouTube account from my PlayStation since I used to do it from my PS4 Pro... I've done everything; I've validated my phone number.

On YouTube, all points are green regarding access to features, and I have no warnings.

Your problem seems quite complex and rather rare; however, I can give you a few recommendations. First of all, have you tried unlinking and relinking the association between your PS5 and YouTube? Sometimes, it can simply be a bug during the initialization of the association. If that doesn't work, you can check the privacy options on your PS5; there may be an option preventing account verification. Otherwise, have you thought about updating your PS5? A system update could fix a problem like this.
If despite all that it still doesn't work, I would try to contact Sony support because the issue seems to be more with your PS5 than with YouTube. They may have a solution to offer you.

Yes, it's a problem I know how to resolve. A few weeks ago, my YouTube account was no longer linked to the PS5, so I thought maybe that could unlock the issue. So I relinked my YouTube account, waited the required time but still nothing.

What could be blocking it in terms of privacy settings? Because it would have also happened for Twitch, and when I linked it to Twitch, I had no issues. Yes, the PS5 is indeed up to date; I do that with every update.

I tried to contact Sony but got no response. I mention this happened some time ago.

I just had a chat with Sony PlayStation, I waited from 1:30 PM at least until 3:30 PM because I had 85 people in front of me and it didn't give anything, they told me that I need to contact YouTube, that's it.

I think I'm going to forget about streaming on YouTube, and that's it.
