SON I2S Driver Issues

Hello,

As the current owner of a Thomson N15C8BK2T, I'm encountering a problem with the sound card. I can't get any sound from the machine.

My Windows 10 is up to date (22H2).
Windows update is also done.

The speaker icon at the bottom right in the taskbar has a red cross.
When I hover the mouse over it, I get the message "No audio output device is installed."

In the device manager:

In the audio, video, and game controllers section, I have:
- ESauDriver Device
- Intel(R) Sound for screens.

In the Other devices section, I have:
- I2S Device with an exclamation mark in a yellow panel.

I have tried random I2S drivers from the internet (notably from the DELL site), none of them seem to work.

The Windows sound troubleshooting tool tells me "Troubleshooting has finished detecting the problem," and yet it launches automatically if I click on the sound icon near the clock.

Thank you for your help :)

    Hello, in solidarity I find myself in the same situation and it seems that others are too. I sent my B550 Asus back to LSLC's customer service. They analyzed it and told me in writing that "everything was normal." I installed a single memory stick and the computer worked well, but today, after a message indicating it was unstable, it no longer displayed an image. On the motherboard when I turn on the PC, the red and white LEDs light up. Not the green one.

    Hello,

    Windows key + X
    Device Manager

    Provide the hardware identification number of the I2S Device
    Check this --> Find the device identification number
    Post the number in your next message.

    Example image:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Go to --> System Devices
    Check if there is a device alert in the list.

    Hello,

    So there are no alerts in system devices.

    Regarding the identification number:

    INTELAUDIO\LINKTYPE_03&DEVTYPE_04&VEN_8086&DEV_AE34&SUBSYS_0000001&REV_0001

    Thank you :)

    Download and install --> 7Zip 64 bits

    Download this driver --> Intel audio

    Right-click on the driver --> ISST_Intel_9.22.0.4078_W10x64_A.zip
    Select --> 7Zip
    Choose --> extract to "ISST_Intel_9.22.0.4078_W10x64_A\"

    Go to device manager
    Right-click on the device
    Update driver
    Browse my computer for drivers
    Choose from a list of drivers...
    Have Disk
    Browse
    Go to the unzipped driver folder --> ISST_Intel_9.22.0.4078_W10x64_A
    Folder --> ISST_Intel_9.22.0.4078_W10x64

    Thanks to this manipulation, the sound icon has indeed returned.

    However, now, when I start an audio content, I get a kind of static noise... like a microphone that's saturated... with no sound coming out.

    Is it a hardware issue after all?

    Run an sfc:
    Windows key + X
    Select --> Windows PowerShell (admin) or Windows Terminal (administrator)
    Type --> sfc /scannow and hit enter

    A system file check will be performed.

    I got this feedback from the scan

    "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations"
