One-time code Microsoft account

Hello,
For several months now, I have been receiving multiple emails a day from Microsoft saying that someone is trying to log into my account, and therefore I receive an email to log in with a one-time code.
However, I did not perform this action.
And when looking at my account activity, I see that the IP addresses correspond to users located in the UNITED STATES.
So I wonder if it is possible for them to eventually connect? If they keep insisting.
Who are they and why are they doing this?
The only solution is to regularly change my password? With all the complications that this implies, like remembering the last saved password from one time to the next? Or changing it in all browsers on all my devices where it is saved.
And finally, is there anything that can be done to make this stop?
Thank you very much

See you!
Hello,
NonoM45, I'm sorry but the page your link leads to is no longer active.
I have the same question as Soso, I regularly receive the same email from Microsoft even though I haven't requested anything and I'm worried about all these attempts (who assures me that they are not successful?) to access my account.
Thank you for your explanations/your help.
Best regards

This most often occurs, as mentioned, in the event of a site change or using different hardware.
