Hello,

I would like to turn off the Sensor function on my Galaxy 7. I have completed all the tasks up to the mosaic, but now: no Sensor Off, nothing! The function isn't there. Could you help me? Is this model obsolete or is there another way to disable the camera and sound? Thank you very much.

      It seems that it always sounds more sophisticated to speak English in general and "Sensors" in particular instead of saying sensors.

      The simplest way to mute the sound and camera is to select the appropriate sound mode and application permissions, or if it involves unintentional actions in your pocket, to use a case and/or a sleep mode.

      The possible disabling of sensors, if it exists in the relevant Android version (I haven't checked on my old J7 running Android 8 that is no longer in use and whose battery is therefore dead) can be found in the developer options that need to be activated (in recent Android versions, it's in the Developer quick settings submenu).

      It can also probably be done by rooting the phone, which would entail taking a lot of risks for not much gain.

        As far as we talk about the same thing and the question, which is unclear, probably coming from YouTube or equivalent by someone who has often contented themselves with passing it on without checking unless it was misread, and verification made after charging the battery, there is, contrary to Android 13 under Android 8 in general and on a J7 in particular, no item in the developer options allowing to disable the sensors.

        Alternatively, when this option exists, the sensors are the camera and the microphone, not "the sound" in a global way including the speakers.
