I am going to Portugal for a month. Can I send messages on Snapchat to a friend in France without internet and without paying?

The question is not related to SnapChat: it's not about SMS but about messages transmitted via mobile data.

So it's about whether we will find a Wi-Fi connection abroad or if mobile data will be deducted from the data plan; their rates are often prohibitive abroad, especially if we keep this data active all the time, so the bill or not will depend on the amount of data subscribed and whether the operator can offer a specific temporary plan during these holidays.

On the other hand, to verify, most operators offer a standard phone contract (unlimited SMS outside of SnapChat) from the EU to France.
