    Hello,

    The battery is dead; or it doesn't hold a charge... Or the charger isn't charging anything at all...

      We left the tablet charging all night with a new charger. The tablet turns on and keeps trying to open. It does not indicate that it is charging.

    OK, this only allows to check the charger... there are other possibilities left.

    So we probably need to change the internal battery of the tablet.

    Be careful, there are several types of Galaxy Tab A, for example: T510--T515--T580-T585-T590 and maybe others... For this battery, it would also be good to have a photo with the written side displayed and clearly readable... As well as the dimensions of this battery LxWxH.
