How to recover a deleted video from a website

Solved

Hello everyone, does anyone have the solution to recover a deleted video from a website? I tried the Wayback Machine but it couldn't find the source, I tried Google Cache and it seemed to work, the site displayed fully with the video but I couldn’t play it, I also tried inspecting the element of the site using the Google Cache archive but when I click on a site to download the video it says "error 410 gone." Does anyone have a solution?

Thank you

  1. Hello,

    No miracle...

    410 Gone

The HTTP response status code 410 Gone is a client-side error that indicates that access to the targeted resource is no longer available on the original server and that this state is likely permanent.

    1. Okay, but is there any way to bypass this with a site that archives deleted videos, or with software? Because I really need to watch that deleted video.

The source is no longer accessible.

Hello, there are no sites that archive all videos or other files (not even Wayback), especially since doing so would require permission from the rights holders, which seems unlikely for a video removed from the web.

Or with software? You would have needed to record this unknown video yourself (if permitted or using capture software), but any software, no matter what, cannot recover a non-existent file that has been deleted from the web.
