Change Google Drive email address

Hello,

I would like to change the primary email of my Google Drive account (currently my personal email, but since I have a lot of things to share for work, I would like to use my job email). However, when I try to modify it, it says "This email address is associated with another Google account." But I don't have any other Google accounts (in fact, when I try to log in with that same address, it says I have no account linked to that email).

I don't understand.

I should mention that both of my emails are not gmail.com but hotmail.fr and hotmail.com

If anyone has a solution/explanation....

    Are you trying to log in to Google using the full address, that is to say with the domain name (the part after the @)?

    I don't know where you're trying to change the main email of your Google Drive, but it's not possible.

    However, you can add your work email in the Email addresses section of "About me" for sharing your Drive.

    Ok thanks, that's what I did. I would have liked to set this second address to "public" and the old one to private, but I can't change the privacy mode of the first one. Specifically, what will others see? Both emails?
