My computer does not detect my Bluetooth headset.

Hello,

It's been a week since I received my JBL Tune 510BT headphones and they work great with my phone. However, when I try to connect them to my PC (Acer, Windows 10), well, it doesn't even detect them! It detects all the devices around except my headphones. I've updated my PC, installed drivers, and done all sorts of troubleshooting, but my PC still doesn't recognize my headphones, as if they don't exist.

I'm posting on this forum slightly desperate because I've tried everything and I hope someone can help me.

Your JBL Tune 510BT headset may not be properly paired with your computer. To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

  1. Make sure your headset is in pairing mode. To do this, press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds until the LED indicator blinks rapidly. This means the headset is ready to pair.

  2. Open the Bluetooth settings on your computer. You can usually access it by clicking the Bluetooth icon in the taskbar or by searching for "Bluetooth" in the Start menu.

  3. Click on "Add Bluetooth or other device." Your computer should now search for nearby Bluetooth devices.

  4. When your JBL Tune 510BT appears in the list of devices, click on it to pair. If prompted to enter a PIN code, use the code "0000."

  5. Once the pairing is successful, your headset should be detected by your computer and ready to use.

If these steps do not work, try resetting your headset by holding the power button for about 10 seconds until the LED indicator blinks rapidly. Then, repeat the steps above to pair your headset again.

If the problem persists, your computer may not have Bluetooth capability, or the Bluetooth module may not be functioning correctly. In this case, you may consider purchasing a USB Bluetooth adapter for your computer or contacting your computer's technical support for assistance.
