My screen cycles white, red, green, and blue endlessly

Hello,

It's been a while since I got my current PC (Ryzen 3600, 16GB RAM, GTX 680), and I had purchased an AOC C27G2ZU 240Hz.

The issue is that when I launch a game (even not very demanding) or an application that requires fullscreen, it freezes and displays the following colors in infinite loop in this exact order: White, Red, Green, and Blue.

When this happens I have to restart the PC once or more, or unplug the cable once or lots of times if that doesn't work.

Note: I have already updated all drivers several times, tried different DisplayPort/HDMI cables, etc.

Have you ever encountered this kind of problem? if yes please help me?

Thank you.

    Hi mrwn,
Your description reminds me of a bad color protocol, like the Pal and Secam between VHS tapes.
► Has this been happening since you installed this monitor?
It looks like a bad handling of the RGB (primary colors in computing).
    Best regards!

      Hello mrwn and txiki,

note: I would say that his screen is rather going into selftest mode.
