I can no longer send messages on Instagram.

Hello, I have a very big problem, in fact I don't know why but I just noticed that I can no longer send a message to someone unless we have talked before. For example, there will be an account, I go to the "send a message" option and it will write at the bottom "invite […] to the conversation," whereas before it didn’t do that. Moreover, if I send the message, I won’t be able to delete it, and I won't be able to send multiple messages in a row; I will have to wait for the person to respond. If the person doesn't reply, I can no longer delete the message, it will stay like that.

Please let me know if you have a solution, it's urgent.

Thank you, but when I ask other people, they don’t have that at all? And just yesterday it didn’t do that for me, even though I’ve had this account for 2 years, and it’s very confusing; I can’t send DMs normally, it just goes directly to that, and I can’t even delete the DM because of this weird feature, but when I ask my friends, they don’t have that, and as I said, just yesterday I didn’t have that.

Updates are always done in batches of users... we never have the same features at the same time.

I also tried to do the same update on my sister's phone and she doesn't have that at all. I don't know if it has something to do with the fact that I've tried too much to send myself messages from another account. Actually, I created another account to send messages to my main account, and that's when it started happening on my main account. So, I'm going to try to upload a picture to show you and see if you can help me.

You see, it's not a classic DM and it really bothers me.

It's called an update. Yes, it's normal and no, you can't do anything about it…

damn :( but with this kind of DM, once you send the message you can't delete it, you have to wait for the person to respond, that's why I hate it. Please give me an update to know if the update did that to you too, thanks anyway!
