Hello,

Yesterday I bought the WIFI key from the brand Essentiel B: WIFI N300, but when I connect it to my desktop PC, the wifi is very slow compared to when I connect it to my laptop, where I reach 50 mbps.

Anyway, I checked the manual, which says I need to install the drivers using a CD, but my desktop PC doesn't have a CD drive. I have searched online but can't find the drivers, and even on the Boulanger website, I only find the N600 version.

    Hello.

    Updating the driver won't change the fact that you bought a low-end dongle with a maximum speed of 300 mbps, which means a very low throughput in practice, especially since it depends on how close you are to the router. For desktop PCs, you should get this kind of network card:

    Either an internal PCI network card: https://www.amazon.fr/carte-wifi-pci/s?k=carte+wifi+pci

    Or a USB WiFi network adapter to connect to your PC's USB port, for example: https://www.amazon.fr/TP-Link-Adaptateur-Archer-T3U-Plus/dp/B0859M539M
