Hello,

While looking for a version of Adobe Acrobat Pro, I must admit I'm a bit lost. Indeed, right now, you can find online:

- Adobe Acrobat PRO DC 2022 - lifetime license for Windows - for €24.99 on Roncatto's site;

- Unlimited Adobe Acrobat PRO DC for €65.80 on Rakuten's site;

- And of course, on Adobe's site, a subscription to Acrobat Pro for €23.99/month and a subscription to Acrobat Standard for €15.59/month.

For my part, I would naturally prefer an unlimited license, but what about those Adobe-branded versions being offered on different sites? Are they legitimate? Are the products similar to those offered on Adobe's site?

If one of you could shed some light on the matter, I would thank you in advance! ;-)

Sincerely,

Valérie

Hello.

These are probably volume licenses resold online, given their price you can try checking this page (read the reviews).

Well indeed, at that price, I’m not risking much! ;-) Thank you very much for this feedback and have a nice rest of the day.

Oh really? We're far from the "lifetime" license... unless we're talking about the lifespan of a gnat! :-)

No worries, I've let it go and I'm using iLovePDF online, it works well and it's free!

Thanks for the feedback and have a great weekend.

Thanks Bazfile! In fact, I already have a converter integrated into my Office suite. What I was interested in with Adobe Acrobat Pro, as well as with PDF Architect - which is also paid, although much cheaper than Acrobat but still needs to be renewed every year - was the ability to modify my PDFs (crop, edit or obscure text, rotate pages, etc.). Well, I'm managing differently and for now, it suits me. :-)

In the lifetime license, there is still Acrobat "pro" 2020...
The link is not easy to find, but if you want to buy it, it's not the one for 24 euros!
Log in to the Adobe website and chat with an assistant; they will give you the link to the page to make the purchase.

Hello,

I have the utmost distrust for those sites that sell products that have no official existence.

Currently, Adobe offers its software exclusively by subscription.

On one of the mentioned sites, I see Lightroom version 2023 without a subscription! However, Adobe has abandoned lifetime licenses since 2017...

On another site, we understand, by reading the comments, that the executable file of the software is "modified". In other words, it has been cracked.

Conclusion: these are either trial versions or cracked versions.

I absolutely do not recommend purchasing Adobe products on the sites mentioned in the initial question.

If you are put off by the price of the subscription, use alternative solutions with other software. It would be better than installing anything on your computer.

What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.

Hi Pierr10

Acrobat Pro 2020 is the last version of Acrobat still sold by Adobe as a perpetual license. If I remember correctly, it costs around 700 euros...

It has quite a few new features compared to version X, and in my opinion, it's more than sufficient for the next five years to come..!
For graphic design, the other software is indeed subscription-based...

Hello Pierr10,

Thank you for your feedback, I completely agree, and that's why I've decided to give up Adobe - way too expensive for my needs - to turn to free online solutions that, for now at least, do the job!

Have a good weekend.
Best regards,
Valérie
